Great analysis. Many of the points discussed were insightful. I also look forward to your sequel on other aspects of immigration like cultural assimilation, which you mentioned might be discussed in later episodes.
Self ghettoisation as is evident in Southall , Bradford, Birmingham (all UK) , Surrey ((Vancouver) , Molenbeek in Brussels, etc were formed as a result of the first arrivals according obvious priority to economic survival as opposed to mainstreaming. But such areas lose out on the benefits of cross cultural interactions and modernisation; and instead get sucked backed into religious fundamentalism and moral depravity .
